Abercrombie to Attend National Governors Seminar this Weekend
Contact: Laurie Au, 808-587-4002HONOLULU, HI – Governor-Elect Neil Abercrombie will attend the National Governors Association Seminar for New Governors in Colorado Springs, Colo. this weekend.
This biennial, bipartisan seminar features a series of workshops and business sessions in which a collegial faculty of veteran governors advise governors-elect and their transition on a host of issues, including: managing the executive budget; shaping a vision for the administration; strategic scheduling and communications and emergency preparedness.
The seminar takes place from Friday, Nov. 19 to Sunday, Nov. 21.
